is a magazine service that allows people to browse digital versions of the latest issues of popular magazines, courtesy of the library.
If you have a Nevins Library card, you can now read magazines from the comfort of your own sofa (or other comfortable chair/bed/yoga mat, or hammock if your WiFi is that good).
It’s easy to get started with Flipster. You can either view the magazines directly through the browser if you’re online (on your computer/phone/tablet), or if you wish to read the magazines offline, you can simply download the Flipster App for free from the Google Play store, iTunes store, or the Amazon App store (for Kindle Fire Only).
Once you’re on the site/in the app you can browse the magazines by category or search for specific ones as well. We have a variety, from Cooking Light, Men’s Health, and Rolling Stone, to Zoobooks and Ranger Rick, to Teen Vogue and Muse.
Each of the magazines has a table of contents which contains links for quick access to articles of interest that open in separate tabs when clicked. And there is even an option to zoom in and out for better readability.
