Program: Let’s Talk About Race

Let’s Talk About Race:

Race Conversations with Shay Stewart-Bouley and Debbie Irving

Thursday April 19, 2018  7:00pm – 8:30pm

How do we talk about color? First, we have to start the conversation! Join anti-racism activists Shay Stewart-Bouley, director of Community Change Inc. and author of the blog Black Girl in Maine, and Debbie Irving, author of the award-winning book Waking Up White. Together, these longtime friends will converse about race and class, unpacking one of the thorniest and most complex problems facing American society. In the second part of the program, the audience will be invited to participate in the discussion.

Brought to you through a grant provided by The Castle Fund.
