Now that it is June, we can expect to have warmer, sunny weather. What a more glorious, soothing way to experience these late Spring/early Summer days than to visit Garden in the Woods.
Garden in the Woods is a living museum of rare and common native plants, set on 45 acres. Let the cares of the world slide off your shoulders as you meander through two miles of paths that take you over glacier-sculpted ridges and through narrow valleys. A pond, a wooded bog, several springs, and a brook bring a diversity of wildlife into the garden. There is much to see, feel, and hear as you commune with nature.
What could be better than that on a sunny day with fresh blooms and tinkling springs? Why, a discounted pass to all that splendor, of course! The Nevins Library offers a pass to the Garden in the Woods, courtesy of the Friends of the Nevins Library, for our patrons and residents of Methuen. The pass is good for up to 4 people with adults getting 50% off admission and children’s admission for $1.00.
