Dr. Kalil, D.D.S to the Nevins Library
for a reading from his book,
“Heaven Can Wait”
December 10th from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
You might know Dr. Joseph Kalil as a dentist in Methuen (now retired), but you might not know that he is also a poet. In fact, his poem “The Dentist’s Prayer” was accepted by the American Dental Association as the universal “Primary Parameter of Care” for dentists to follow in the treatment of patients.
He has now published his first book of poetry, entitled Heaven Can Wait: Words that Inspire, Motivate and Entertain. He combines words and thoughts with poetic forms to make for interesting reading. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
